The Joint Task Force Guantanamo announced that a detainee died today of colorectal cancer. The detainee, Abdul Razzak of Afghanistan, who was undergoing a chemotherapy course of treatment for cancer, was pronounced dead by a physician this morning. Read more
Sperm Whale Stranded Off Coast of Florida in the US

Officials and biologists for several federal state and local agencies including the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) and the Mote Marine Laboratory are currently observing a 30 foot Sperm whale off Florida’s west coast that maybe stranded.
