The Naked Brothers Band heads to “The Big Easy,” rolling into New Orleans on their first national rock tour in the new 90-minute TV movie, “Polar Bears,” premiering Friday, June 6, at 8:00 p.m. (ET/PT) on Nickelodeon. Climate change is at the forefront of the movie as the band witnesses the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina and questions the environment’s connection to the catastrophe. After Alex watches the Oscar(R)-winning documentary “An Inconvenient Truth,” the band rallies together to raise money and awareness for the environment and in particular for the polar bears, who stand a chance of extinction. The “Catwoman” suit created by Syren Couture for Michelle Pfeiffer’s role in the 1992 movie “Batman Returns” is currently on display at the upcoming “Superheroes: Fashion and Fantasy” exhibit at New York City’s world famous Metropolitan Museum of Art. The exhibit will run through Monday, September 1st in the Museum’s Special Exhibition Galleries on the first floor and it features approximately 60 ensembles including movie costumes, avant-garde haute couture and high performance sportswear.
