The Tunisian coast guard has detained four Egyptian fishing boats after they entered Tunisian territorial waters and fishing illegally.
Speaking to journalists on the matter on Wednesday in Cairo, the Assistant Egyptian Foreign Minister for Consular Affairs, Ambassador Ahmed Rizk, said that 65 Egyptian fishermen were detained on board the four fishing boats.
Ahmed Rizk urged fishing boat owners not to enter into the territorial waters of other states, without obtaining the necessary permits.
