Arab League Boss Satisfied with Libya-US Compensation Agreement

The Arab League’s Secretary-General Amr Moussa, has expressed satisfaction over the agreement reached between Libya and United States to compensate victims of the plane bombing.

Moussa on Saturday expressed hope that the agreement will open the door for return of normal relations between the two countries, and thereby enhancing bilateral relations between them.

Lybia and USA agreed on Thursday to create a special fund to pay compensations for American victims of attacks blamed on Libya, for the bombing in 1988 of a Pan Am flight 103 over Lockerbie, Scotland.
