BBC Three Increases It Viewing Figures After Revamp

BBC Three’s first revamp week has seen record share and reach figures for the channel. Amongst 16-34s the channel recorded its second highest weekly share ever, 4.5%. Last week also saw the channel’s highest weekly reach ever for 16-34s at 4.7 million/36.6%.
Amongst all individuals, share is up by 10% from the same time last year - at 2.3%. It was also the fourth highest weekly reach ever at 14.5 million/28.9%.
The BBC iPlayer has also seen programs such as Lily Allen And Friends prosper: according to the latest available figures, it was the second most requested program when it launched on the BBC iPlayer last Wednesday and since then has remained in the top 20 programs.
Danny Cohen, Controller, BBC Three, said: “I’m really delighted that we had record figures for our target audience in the first week of the revamp.
“I hope we will continue this excellent young audience growth over the next year or so, and take lots of risks along the way.”
