Bipasha Basu in Madhur Bhandarkar’s Corporate 2

Bipasha Basu will return as Nishigandha Dasgupta, to settle scores in Corporate’s sequel titled Corporate 2, to be directed by Madhur Bhandarkar.

After exposing the underbelly of the glitterati in Page 3, Bhandarkar - with Corporate - took a dig at the corporate world and exposed the depravity, that has become an intrinsic part of the business culture, in the times of cut throat competition.

Bipasha, as the female lead character, received praise for her worthy performance in the film, that had an open ending which showed Bipasha left alone with her daughter, fighting for justice.

Since the end was left to the viewer’s imagination, Bhandarkar has decided to make a sequel, which will feature Bipasha making a comeback into the corporate world and getting even with those, who were the reason for her downfall.

An industry source claims, “The sequel will show Bipasha’s character getting even with those who played dirty with her. As Bipasha’s character is far stronger in Corporate 2, she will be shown climbing the ladder of corporate success and seeking revenge. It is going to be Bipasha’s film all the way.”

Sources claim that, Corporate 2 will give Bipasha’s character great potential and scope, and that is why Bipasha is extremely excited to do the film, as she wants to sink her teeth into this meaty role.

Bhandarkar confirmed that plans for a sequel to Corporate were on. “Yes, the plan is very much on, but it is too early to give out details.”
