Burkinabe Prime Minister Forms 32 Member Government
Mr. Beyon Luc Adolphe Tiao, who has recently been re-appointed as Prime Minister of Burkina Faso, on Thursday formed a new government of 32 members.
This “Tiao III” government is marked by 11 departures, 13 arrivals, three senior ministers and five female cabinet members. It can also be noted that one of the coalition members, the ‘Alliance pour la Democratie et la Federation/Rassemblement Democratique Africain’ (ADF/RDA) has left the government.
The other observation is that President Blaise Compaore still preserves his portfolio as Minister of Defense and War Veterans.
