125px-Flag_of_Egypt.svg1Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak has confirmed his country’s support for cooperation and greater relations with Burundi in all areas.

The Egyptian president made the statement when receiving visiting Burundian second Vice-President Gabriel Ntisezerana at the presidential headquarters.

After an audience with President Mubarak, 2nd VP Ntisezerana told reporters that his meeting has been fruitful and positive.

He added that President Mubarak responded to his country’s wish to receive Egyptian experts in the fields of energy, agriculture and tourism.

This is meant to help in the implementation of Burundi’s economic development and reform. It will also contribute to the establishment of needed infrastructure projects, including power plants, drinking water, sanitation and roads projects, Ntisezerana pointed out.
