Egyptian Foreign Minister Ahmed Aboul Gheit will meet Tuesday in Brussels, Belgium with senior officials of the European Union and North Atlantic Treaty Organization “NATO”.
An Egyptian diplomatic source told reporters on Saturday that Abul Gheit and EU officials will address the situation in the Middle East, particularly the mediation efforts of Egypt for Palestinian reconciliation between Fatah and Hamas.
The source added that Aboul Gheit will also discuss with NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen about the cooperation between Egypt and NATO within the framework of the Mediterranean Dialogue.
