Ethiopian and Namibian officials have signed an agreement to establish a twin cities cooperation between the capital cities of the two countries.
The agreement was reached with the visiting Namibian delegation, led by Foreign Minister Marco Housiku, which has been in Ethiopia since the past three days.
Accordingly, Housiku and the deputy mayor of Addis Ababa, Kefyalew Azeze discussed the twinning of the two cities, as well as cooperation between Addis Ababa and Windhoek, according to Ethiopian Television (ETV).
“The two delegations also exchanged views on sharing best practices from each other’s countries, the report said.
It was also reported that Foreign Minister Housiku told the deputy mayor that Namibia was desirous to draw lessons from Ethiopia on the construction of condominium houses.
