Explosion Kills 4 And Injures 14 in Ethiopian Capital

An explosion killed four people while seriously injuring 14 others in Addis Ababa, Ethiopian police said on Wednesday. The explosion from an unknown device occurred in a TV show room where many people were watching soccer.
Tesfaye Meresa, Addis Ababa deputy police commission said the explosion occurred in a place called Addis Ketema,which is one of the busiest districts of Addis Ababa.
Police have begun investigating the explosion which occurred while the country is preparing to celebrate New Year in a week’s time.
Similar explosion occurred in Addis Ababa during the past few months with the government accusing the Oromo Liberation Front (OLF), which is fighting for the “freedom” of the Oromo ethnic groups, the majority of the Ethiopian estimated 80 million people.
