Four LTTE Targets Destroyed By Sri Lanka Air Force

In the ongoing war against terrorism, four LTTE targets were destroyed by the Sri Lanka Air Force this evening. An LTTE strong point located two and a half kilometers east of the Nachchikuda area came under Sri Lanka Air Force fighter jet attack around 4.45 pm today (20), followed by another attack around 5pm targeting an LTTE Forward Defence Line (FDL) 3 kms east of Nachchikuda area.
Meanwhile around 5 pm MI 24 helicopters shelled an LTTE gathering point half a kilometer north of the Nachchikuda area, the Media Center for National Security said.
Air force MI 24 Helicopters also carried out air strikes on an LTTE strong point two and a half kilometers sast of the Nachchikuda area at around 5.00pm.
All these targets have been accurately taken, sources said.
