The President and Commander in Chief of The Gambia Armed Forces, Yahya Jammeh, has dismissed two members of the Gambia Armed Forces and Police High Command respectively.
A press release issued by the Gambia government and read over the state owned national radio on Tuesday evening revealed that President Jammeh has with effect from the 24th of November demoted Lieutenant Colonel Kawsu Camara to the rank of private.
The release added that President Jammeh has in the same vein dismissed Modou Gaye from the position of Deputy Inspector General of Police.
