125px-Flag_of_Ghana.svg2Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Saltanov has accepted the letters of credence from the newly-appointed Ghanaian ambassador to Russia, Seth Koranteng, at his offices in Moscow.

After the presentation, the two men discussed the further development of Russian-Ghanaian relations in enhancing bilateral cooperation between them.

In September, President John Evans Mills presented Letters of Commission to 13 High Commissioners and Ambassadors at the Castle, Osu-Accra, and called on them to help the government to achieve its agenda of building a better Ghana.

President Mills told them that they were chosen for the confidence government had in them, therefore, they should put Ghana first above any other interests in their foreign assignments, pursue economic diplomacy to attract investment into the country and finally advised them to be guided by government’s core values of investing in people, job creation, increased production and running an open, honest and transparent government.
