May 24, 2008
The Senegalese-born American music star, Akon will hold two concerts in Conakry, the capital of Guinea, at the invitation of a mobile telephone company, which is launching one of its products on the Guinean market, sources close to the organizers told APA on Saturday.
The two concerts are scheduled to take place on Saturday and Sunday at the ‘28 September’ Stadium in Conakry.
Young music fans are impatient to attend the event, despite the hardships of life in a country rocked by skyrocketing food prices.
