Illegal Batch of Caviar And Crabs Seized in Russia’s Far East

Police have seized crabs and caviar worth over 4 million rubles ($163,000) in an anti-poaching operation in Russia’s Far Eastern region of Kamchatka, a police source said on Monday.
Three caterpillar tractors which were illegally transporting over 2,100 cans of crabs and four tons of red caviar in plastic containers were seized during in a joint operation by the police, prosecutors and a local agricultural watchdog.
An investigation is underway.
