Indian Physicians Pledge Expertise to Treat Tanzanians Suffering From Cancer And Spine Problems

TanzaniaIndian physicians have pledged expertise to treat and save Tanzanians suffering from cancer and spine problems during a three-day camp to be conducted in Dar es Salaam by medical specialists from India, APA can report.

A cancer specialist from HCG Hospital in Bangalore, India, Dr Ps Sridhar, is expected in the country on Thursday to conduct a two-day screening camp for cancer complication patients.

A statement in Dar es Dalaam on Tuesday by Regency Medical Centre chairman, Dr Rajni Kanabar said the camp will be held on Saturday and Sunday at Regency Satellite Clinic, located at Zanaki Street in the city.

According to the statement a spine specialist from the Multi Specialty Hospital Shalby Ahmedabad in India, Dr Viral Shah is expected in the country in the first week of February to screen patients with spine problems.

According to Dr Kanabar, the screenings will be conducted for three days from February 4, at Regency Satellite Clinic, pointing out that patients who would like to consult the specialists must come with their previous X- Rays and other medical reports.

“Only first 200 registered patients will get opportunity to consult the specialists therefore, I encourage patients with such problems to take this opportunity to consult the specialist for diagnosis,” Dk Kanabar said.

He added; “This is a good opportunity for fellow Tanzanians to be attended to by super specialist doctors for cancer and spine for diagnosis and screening from the two different renowned hospitals from India”.
