The International Labor Organization (ILO) Thursday began a ten-day intensive development seminar for youth coordinators across Liberia.
Thirty young people from the Youth and Sports Ministry and the Federation of Liberian Youth are attending the seminar which is a joint employment program of the ILO, United Nations and Mano River Union.
The conference is taking place in the provincial town of Kakata located about 45 kilometers north of the capital Monrovia.
The Technical Officer of the ILO at the Youth and Sports Ministry said the young people are being trained in three specific areas mainly generating business ideas, how to start and improve their own businesses
