125px-Flag_of_Liberia.svg4The Director of the Africa Department of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) Dr. Antoinette Sayeh arrives in Liberia next Monday to participate in the third program review of the Poverty Reduction and Growth Facility and discuss progress and challenges ahead.

A Finance Ministry press statement issued Friday said while in the country Dr. Sayeh along with the IMF mission will also participate in discussions of the Memorandum of Economic and Financial Policies and the wrap up meeting with officials of the Ministry of Finance and the Central Bank of Liberia.

The statement said Dr. Sayeh, a former Liberian Finance Minister, will on Tuesday address a meeting of the Economic Management Team of Liberia chaired by President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf.

During her stay in Monrovia Dr. Sayeh will visit the One-Stop-Shop for customs clearance at the Free Port of Monrovia and host an outreach forum on IMF support for Africa, the statement said.
