Keira Knightley refuses to read reviews of her own movies, because they leave her depressed and housebound for days. The British star has received criticism of her acting in the past, and it affected her so much, she now avoids reviews.

Knightley had said that she is unfortunate enough to catch something by accident, which happens, and it’s always a bad review. Always, it’s amazing. She says she will be sitting in a cafe, and she will open a random paper right to the page of the review. And then you’re sucked in and go home and never want to go out again.

Knightley said that it’s very unfortunate to see bad reviews. She said that whenever she goes to a cafe and picks up a paper to read, she gets to read her own movie reviews. And then she says you feel sucked in and feel like going home and never coming out again.
