Kingfisher Airlines to Launch New Services

India’s Kingfisher Airlines have announced that starting December 15, 2007, it will be launching a new route connecting Jabalpur with Indore and will offer a daily direct flight in either direction. The launch of two new flights on this route marks the first time that Kingfisher Airlines will commence flights to and from Jabalpur.
The Jabalpur- Indore sector is a virgin route and this is the first time that any airline has provided a direct route between Jabalpur and Indore. With the launch of services on this new route, Kingfisher Airlines will become the only airline to offer convenient daily connections between Jabalpur and Mumbai, Jabalpur and Raipur and Jabalpur and Ahmedabad. The launch of this new route will also offer enhanced connectivity between Jabalpur and other cities like New Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkatta and Chennai.
These flights will be operated using brand new ATR72-500 aircraft with Kingfisher Class featuring personalized in-flight entertainment on every seat, gourmet cuisine and the award-winning, world class Kingfisher Class service. With the launch of these new services, Kingfisher Airlines will have 244 departures a day and will serve 43 destinations with a fleet of 37 brand new aircraft.
Commenting on the launch of yet another series of new sectors, Mr. V. Raja, Global Sales Head, Kingfisher Airlines Limited said, “Our flights on the Jabalpur-Indore route will cater to traffic in important centers of trade and commerce and the burgeoning community of traders, entrepreneurs, professionals like lawyers and high net worth individuals who have been instrumental in bolstering trade and commerce in this region. Besides this, tourists and other frequent travelers on this route will now be able to enjoy the benefit of improved connectivity with various important cities and metropolitan cities. The introduction of these new flights means that air travelers between the states of Madhya Pradesh and Chattisgarh and indeed travelers to these states will now have a wider and more convenient choice of connecting flights into and out of this entire region.”
