Residents of Washington D.C., Maryland and Virginia will receive an additional discount making their admission costs $13 for adults and seniors and $9 for kids ages 12 and under with proof of residency.
“Madame Tussauds has had an incredible reception in Washington D.C. More than 80% of visitors have said they would recommend a visit to Madame Tussauds to their family and friends,” said Janine DiGioacchino, General Manager of Madame Tussauds New York and Washington D.C. “We want to make it even easier for those friends and family members to experience the exhibits, interactive experiences and amazingly lifelike wax figures at Madame Tussauds Washington D.C.”
Tussauds cited the increasing cost of gas, food and other necessities as factors in the decision to change its pricing structure. The new fee structure reflects consumer opinion on what is considered an acceptable cost in today’s economic climate in the Washington D.C. area.
