Moroccan public hospitals are soon to benefit from a telemedicine program providing clinical support to patients through video conference, medical sources told APA.
The program, which was launched by the Washington Child Medical Center, comprises information sharing on the latest medical novelties as well data transfer through an interactive communication technology.
The partnership, which is the first of the kind with Moroccan health centers, aims at promoting distance treatment and access to health information.
The program will foster remote medical check-ups as well distance image interpretation and home-based monitoring of patients from the US.
