Nancy Grace Finally Brings Her Twins Home From the Hospital

November 24, 2007

Happy news for Nancy Grace and her husband David Linch!

The couple was finally able to bring their daughter Lucy Elizabeth home from an Atlanta hospital on Saturday, November 24, after the preemie twin born weighing only 2 lbs 15 oz, reached the crucial 4 lb weight. Lucy’s brother John David came home on Thursday, November 22, but he was born weighing in at 5 lbs 1 oz.

Since the twins’ birth on November 4, it has been a trying time for the CNN news anchor known for her tough-as-nails attitude when it comes to catching the bad guys.

A health crisis (pulmonary edma) that caused fluid to accumulate in her lungs during the pregnancy forced the doctors to perform a C-section an,d take the twins out early.

Preemies are always in some danger, but Nancy had hope, saying, that because girl preemies do better than boys, she felt Lucy would be fine — and she was right.

What Nancy, 48, didn’t count on was blood clots putting her back in the hospital herself, just one week after giving birth.

The real question here is, will motherhood soften our little pit bull Nancy Grace?

Guess we’ll have to wait and see! Nancy intends to take her family back to New York City, as soon as it’s safe for Lucy to travel.

And diaper genies stink just as bad as those criminals you have prosecuted. So, hope to see you soon back on the news. ( I am Julie Helton, writing this for my sister Stacy Reiling, your biggest fan ever. She thinks that you should be President.)

Got something to say?
