President Elect of Ghana on Private Visit to South Africa
President Jacob Zuma of South Africa has met the President-elect of Ghana, John Mahama, at his hometown residence of Nkandla in KwaZulu-Natal Province Sunday, the Presidency said here Monday.
Mahama is in South Africa on a private visit.
According to the office, the two leaders held talks on Sunday ahead of Mahama attending the annual Jacob Zuma private holiday season party for orphans and the youth in his home village which was held on the same day.
President Zuma is expected to attend Mahama’s inauguration in Ghana on January 7 2012, the Presidency said.
