Reports Claim Michael Jackson is Now a Muslim Named Mikaeel

The word is that troubled pop star Michael Jackson has found new ways and means to find peace. He has converted to Islam and has changed his name to Mikaeel.

Incidentally Mikaeel is the name of one of Allah’s angels.

Jackson was raised a Jehovah’s Witness.

According to Thesun.co.uk the 50 year old Jackson, was dressed in the Islamic garb as he pledged his allegiance to the Koran at a friend’s house in Los Angeles.  He reportedly sat on the floor as an Imam officiated the ceremony.

Jackson decided to convert after discussing religion with a music producer and songwriter on his new album, both of them converts to Islam.

A source says, “They began talking to him about their faith and how they thought they had become better after they converted. Michael soon began warming to the idea. An Imam was summoned, and Michael went through the shahada, which is the Muslim declaration of belief.”

We wonder if things become better for Jackson after this new move!
