A real estate agent has revealed that a farmer from south Russia could become the owner of U.S. pop star Britney Spears’ $7.9- million mansion in California.
According to the Russian agency, Doki, the potential buyer for the six-bedroom, seven-bathroom Renaissance style home is a 48-year-old known only as Alexei.
“The man has primarily been involved in agriculture for the past 16 years. At the current time among Alexei’s assets are 1,000 hectares of land, two pig farms, horticultural gardens and fruit and vegetable production facilities,” a press release said.
Apparently one of the reasons he was attracted to the property is his three daughters, who are huge Britney Spears fans.
“My daughters couldn’t believe it when I told them. That they really could live in the home of their idol,” the Russian was cited as saying in a statement.
Alexei and his family are due to leave Russia in the near future for a viewing of the pop star’s house.
