125px-Flag_of_Rwanda.svg4The government of Rwanda and the African Development Bank (AfDB) have signed a grant worth over $7 million towards small and medium scale enterprises development.

The permanent secretary of the Ministry of Finance and Economic Planning, John Rwangombwa, told APA that the fund will help in capacity building through training of members of the business community in financial management.

“This is the second phase of SMEs competitive enterprise development project. The fund will be used in capacity building which targets the training of business men and women in financial management,” he said.

Rwangomba said part of the grant will be given to Rwanda Development Board to facilitate its investment and export promotion activities.
