125px-Flag_of_Senegal.svgSenegalese authorities have deported back to Nouakchott the Mauritanian citizen Taleb Ould Ahmednah. Ould Ahmednah is accused of being a member of the Al Qaeda wing in the Islamic Maghreb (AQMI).

He was arrested two months ago in Dakar where he was questioned by local authorities about his false papers.

In the first place, the alleged salafist is expected to be heard as part of a preliminary investigation by the State Security Department and then he will appear before the public prosecutor’s office in Nouakchott.

As soon as he came to power in Mauritania, Mauritanian President Mohamed Ould Abdelaziz had expressed his strong determination to wage a ruthless war against terrorism.
