A group of Seychellois students are taking part in a one-week training session on photography in order to take pictures of climate change-related subjects that will be shown at the United Nations Framework on Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen in December.
Sources here said on Friday that the photos will be used to sensitize world leaders of the urgency to tackle the problems related to climate change.
The training is led by Lawrence Hislopa, a Canadian professional photographer who has run previous courses in the Arctic communities.
The project is organized by the Seychelles Sea Level Rise Foundation in partnership with the United Nations Environment Programme.
