Star Crossed Lovers Make It to Their 2nd Year of Marriage

Why are we so happy about a 2nd anniversary?

Counrtry crooners Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood didn’t have an easy time getting together.

Garth, 45, was married to wife Sandy, the mother of his three daughters, when he met Trisha, 43, and she was on husband number two.

The tabloids were ripe with news that the two were hooking up while on the road touring, but Garth and Trisha constantly denied it.

Things changed when Trisha ditched her hubby and Garth bid adieu to his wife in 2001.

By March of 2005, Garth was on bended knee, proposing to Trisha on stage of one of her concerts, by December 10 of 2005, the two quietly married.

Seems like great fodder for a hit country music song!
