The Sudanese president, Omar al-Bashir, will be attending the China-Africa Forum to be held in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt on 8 November, Sudanese presidential advisor Dr. Mustafa Osman Ismail told reporters after meeting Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak on Sunday in Cairo.
Mustafa Osman was carrying a written message from President al-Bashir to his counterpart President Mubarak on bilateral relations, and issues of common concern.
The International Criminal Court (ICC) issued an international arrest warrant against President al-Bashir in March for crimes against humanity and war crimes in Darfur, western Sudan.
The Sudanese head of state had since visited Eritrea, Egypt, Libya and Ethiopia in defiance of the warrant.
