Suspected Nigerian Killer Arrested At Cairo Airport
June 5, 2008
Cairo airport security on Wednesday arrested a Nigerian woman suspected of killing her husband and three children.
Irina Benjamin, who was on transit to Paris, was carrying a forged passport.
During examination of transit passengers arriving from Lagos, security men found a piece of a Nigerian newspaper which confirmed that she had fled Nigeria after killing her husband and children.
Benjamin told the security officers that she paid $20,000 to one person to help her escape from Nigeria.
Airport security manager Major General Sami Draz ordered her deportation to Nigeria.
