Having failed in an attempt to raise funds for the LTTE terrorist outfit through a mega musical show, LTTE sympathizers in London are now planning a lesser version, it is reported.
The show is been organized by an outfit that calls itself ‘Tamil Youth Organization’ (TYO), a claimed front organization that has been raising funds for the LTTE terrorists internationally. It is also reported that as the earlier effort, by ‘White Pigeons’ (another claimed LTTE front organization), fell flat with key artists from India billed to appear at the musical event being refused UK visas a few weeks ago, the organizers of this event are planning to depend mostly on local talent.
Backed by the same activists, the new show, dubbed ‘Ilam Kaatru’ ( or Wind of Eelam), is to be staged in The Great Hall in Hatch End in the London suburb of Harrow on the 1st of March.
“Although the LTTE is a banned organization in the United Kingdom, Tamil Youth Organization, a front organization of the LTTE that openly collects funds for the banned Sri Lankan insurgents and continue to carry on their activities in London blatantly,” a foreign correspondent said.
The FBI’s announcement not to donate to bogus charities of the LTTE on the eve of the show dissuaded many from attending the previous show organized by ‘White Dove’.
