Third UNMIL Helicopter Crashes in Liberia

An aviation accident investigation team in Liberia is searching to establish the causes of the third UN Mission helicopter crash in the country on Saturday, sources said.
A statement said, the latest incident involved a MI-8 vessel belonging to the UN’s Ukrainian Aviation Unit.
The aircraft crashed while landing at the port city of Greenville in southeastern Sinoe county.
There were no passengers on board the helicopter marked UN-174 and none of the four crew members sustained any injuries, the UN statement said.
The first accident took place in northern Lofa County with no casualties, but the second in the northeastern commercial city of Ganta in Nimba County about three months ago, left all threw Russian crew members dead.
