Tony Bennett to Perform a Tribute to Frank Sinatra At Sons of Italy Gala

Tony Bennett will offer a tribute to Frank Sinatra on the 10th anniversary of the legendary entertainer’s death during the Sons of Italy Foundation (SIF) 20th anniversary gala in Washington, D.C. on May 22.Also, for the first time, chefs from eight leading Italian restaurants in D.C. will prepare and serve unique appetizers during the gala’s reception to help the SIF raise money for its scholarships, disaster relief and medical research. Among the chefs are Roberto Donna (Bebo Trattoria); Enzo Fargione (Teatro Goldoni) and Francesco Ricchi (D’Acqua).

The SIF is the philanthropic arm of the Order Sons of Italy in America (OSIA), the nation’s oldest and largest national organization for people of Italian heritage. To date, the SIF has contributed more than $98 million to medical research, disaster relief, and scholarships. The Gala proceeds help fund these philanthropic programs.
